Some questions regarding the 2nd air

Is this system considered smog? Does removing and blocking off make the bike faster? If so how does blocking off make the bike faster?

Please advise those who know or have experienced.

yes it is smog equipment. and no , it does not make the bike faster or slower..

Just an air injection system to reduce HC's

I think the biggest bonus is weight reduction when you add after market exhaust.

I removed mine and there was no difference in performance just alot less plumbing....

If you start doing some performance mods, the extra air in the exhaust can cause backfiring. Removing it is a cure for that.
