Has anybody actually weighed their Gen I Busa and modify / shave weight off the bike?

I know rearsets, exhausts, wheels save weight but what else? What is the lowest weighing Busa do we have in this forum? I am asking because of weight/hp ratio...

People always told me I'd get rid of a lot of dead weight cutting from the shoulders up...

On serious note...
Exhaust, rims, swing arm, carbon fiber stuff. Etc...

If you take a dump before you ride you gain the equivalent of 5hp

I was thinking the same thing the other day, as soon as our new outside scale is installed at work I will get a weight on mine. I know she has lost a few pounds

Pull it up on one wheel and dump the passeger. You might save 120+lbs. depending if you like 300pounders or not.:rofl:

Let your women ride with me that will save ya some weight.

My 2000 started at 545 lbs. (I remember weighing it but sorry, don't remember how much gas was in it at the time). It now weighs 495 lbs. with 1/2 tank of gas (on racing scale).
Aftermarket and mods appear below. I think you ask a meaningful question, it's good to know your bike's weight. Raydog
