I need to know if the cush rubbers going out would cause my sprocket bolts to knock a 1/4" groove in my extentions. The axle is tight but the sprocket hub still moves. Is it time to replace the rubbers?

The cush rubbers may cause play back and forth in the plane of chain movement, but they should not allow the sprocket to move in and out against the swingarm.
There are spacers there that press against the bearings, and they would stop that type of motion, esp if the axle is tight.
I would take it apart and look at the bearings and spacers.

Put the spacer back in between the cushdrive and the swingarm. Or, make sure all 3 spacers are in. 1 outside the cushdrive, 1 between the cush and wheel, 1 on the other side of the wheel that contacts the swingarm.

if you havent taken it apart, more than likley your bearing is shot in the cush hub, like stated above cush rubbers being shot will let your sprocket rotate around the axel, but a bad bearing thats in the cush hub will give you freeplay left to right (sitting on the bike)
