tank seam

hey ive posted a few time but, long story short, i bought a 06 le wrecked and have it rebuilt back to multi color and am starting the paint process, i was curious, i filled my tank seam in along the frame has any one else done this? if so can u post pics,i shot my tank with primer

I'm not a paint expert but trying to grasp what you're describing.

the lip around the edge where its welded, you bend it in alittle and blend it in for a cleaner look like this ..... its on a honda vtx cruiser, i have one of those too
i left the shop and won't be going back till next week ill post pics of my busa tank then
