This is a bit lengthy but not too much. Well today I completed MSF coursex2. I originally went in 2003 when I began to ride bikes. I PCSd to Germany last year in Feb and found out that if your MSF card is not within 3 years then you have to get a current one in order to register your bike.
Bummer, you say, not really since I deployed to Iraq a month later and it was still snowing in Germany.
Well now that I'm on R&R I got the chance to take the course again so I can ride the Autobahn this summer when I redeploy

Today in class I had the pleasure of seeing three wrecks, one that resulted in a pretty bad bruise that a scooter rider wont soon forget as he rolled down the course about 4 good times, and another guy that decided the best way to execute the quick stop was by slamming on the front brake only and dropping the bike (happened two consecutive times).
I say this, always wear your proper gear because even though they werent going fast you can still get injured.
