Cooling fans

Has anayone changed out their plastic fan blades with aluminum units when going with a full 4-1 system? I noticed that several units come alot closer to the radiator than the stock pipe and I can see where this could make for a heat issue on a plastic fan blade.

get a bic lighter and see how long it takes for the blades to even statr smoking while they're turning...

You've got to really tweek the aluminum blades to get even close to the efficiency of the OE blades.

I have 99-07 and 08 aluminum fan blades in stock if needed.

Thanks, thought I would see what you folks thought. If I need them the time to do it is when I put a new exhaust on.
