Has anyone had a chance to test out a 1441 busa,I am thinking of going that way with my 08 and was wondering what would be the pros and cons of this setup.Just plan on cruising back and forth to work and spanking them at the track (zx14,10's)Thanks.

Just picked up a 08 with the 1441 kit. My builder said good pure street motor and will be very reliable for the daily ride. On the Dyno it put out 228 hp.

Are you willing to share the specs of the motor? Impressions? What are it's manners like on the road? Any experience with riding in the heat?

My riding buddy has had his 08 busa w/1441 bigbore and i must say that this is one quick bike...I run a 2003 Gen1 w/nitrous dynoed to 205hp/132tq and its a struggle to keep up with him on the straightas my 2.5lb runs out too DAYUM fast. Thats why Im going turbo..

Who sells these kits? And also, whats the biggest Big Bore kit available? I was thinking of taking this route so I wouldn't have to go turbo but I'm still trying to sort out the pros / cons between both and also pricing.

My builder is Chris Jones (Jones Performance). I bought the bike with fairing damage with the motor just built. I have not got the spec sheet from him yet. By riding locally its strong and does not seem to overheat. Like all worked motors its slow starting.

My builder just built the zx-14 that won in Memphis and he beat all of the sponsored teams I have the Dyno sheet. My 02 has 168hp and 40hp dry spray. The 08 on motor is much stronger on just motor and I can't wait to put spray on it.

The cost was about $3200 in parts plus labor. He put a J&E kit and Webb cams. While riding it around town I've been really happy with it and surprising it has not ran any hotter that My 02.

Nice. My buddy has an 06 with the 1397 kit with yoshi cams and when I took it for a spin i was impressed compared to my 02. I would have to spray to stay up with him.I just can't wait to get my fairing for the left side so I can out some miles on the new motor.

I'd like to see a dyno graph of a 1441 '08 compared to a stockish one.

I'm also curious about doing this.. I'd like to know what parts exactly are involved?

I'm going to take a guess and assume:
Block
pistons
aluminum fan
cams
power commander

What am I missing?
