Mods feel free to put this in the correct forum. Didn't know where to post it. As stated above, my question is: Are rear shocks & springs interchangable or completely different from Gen 1 to Gen2? I'm asking because I put an Eibach spring on my 07 to support my 290 weight(with riding gear - I must need lighter gear, right?). I swapped it out for a low mileage spare when bike sold, so I have an almost new 2007 shock with the correct spring already installed on it. I'd like to put it on my 08. Can anyone help? Right about now I'm missing the centerstand I put on the 07 too. It made it easy to change the rear shock. Thanks!
