so it needs the clutch mod for hard launching?

Depends on who you talk to, ask me and I say no. I went 1.601 60 ft first time out within 4 passes all stock except lowerd and straped. have a buddy on an 05 that can go 1.57 all day stock clutch stock wheel base.
