Hey all

I took sometime today to work on the homemade fender plate eliminator and lighted plate bolts. I wanted to make the whole thing removeable....plate bolts and bracket if I was to ever do a trackday with the bike. But more so, for ease of removing the plate if I ever have too!!!!

The 2 pieces that were were one. I took a pencil and traced the body line of the busa to the lower mud flap so it was flush with the body when cut from the fender.

Then I took a piece of wide L-braket and bent it to the angle I wanted the plate to be. I used the stock plate mounting braket. Drilled 2 holes and used the 4 metric screw and nuts from the reflector mounts to secure it to the lower fender cover.

Then I took the pin connector ends and soldered them to the stock harness for the tag lamp. They fromed a y connection so you can plug up the 2 tag lamp bolts.

Once all soldered up and plugged in. Re attach the tag lamp harness connectors you soldered to the tag lamp bolts. Lift in to place and tuck the wire harness into the open space and secure with the 4 10mm headed bolts that held the fende into place. Turn the key on and check for light operation.
