How do I get that indentation out so I can remove the bolt?
Screw drivers not going to work - it bent.
What do Mechs use?

Yep, it was pain trying to remove it. I tried using a chisel after my screwdriver snapped, (helped a little) then finally just put the impact on it and she came right off.

The gen-1s have that as well. I just tackled it with a breaker bar.

Took two people for mine. I bought a clamp that sort of looks like a huge pair of vise grips and a socket. While one person holds the basket in place the other loosens the nut. The indention just bends out of the way on its on.

The indention is so that it dont come loose. I still use some locktite for peace of mind.

I'm gonna get flamed for this but it may help others. When I tore my engine down for a piston kit and second gear, this fixed my needs in about 15 min. using 2 old steels from my old clutch. Looks like hell but works great

i have something similar, welded a bar onto an old steel, but works well. Or you can put the bike in 6th gear and hold the rear brake, use an impact with 30 mm socket and good to go.
