2008 Air Filters

Does anyone have the ability to compare a 2007 K&N or BMC air filter with a stock 2008 air filter.

Does anyone have the ability to compare a 2007 K&N or BMC air filter with a stock 2008 air filter.

I was at autozone the other day and they have a machine that will show the difference in flow from a K&N filter vs. a stock one. It pulls air through the filter, then blows a ping pong ball up a tube. What a big difference in the two!

I figured the air boxes/filters were different, but I could not find the article where I read it. I looked up the 07 micro fiche photos and compared them to the 08 manuel photos of the air box.
