Well I think everyone should start off with that price otd(including tax) or go to a another stealer. I've already spoken with my dealer and have the first orange/blk lined up but if I dont get at least that price otd, I'm otd.

Thanks to Rapstar in this thread, Troy City Garage in Troy, NY...... I confirmed via email - $10,919 OTD.

Waiting to hear back from my sales guy at the shop down the road from me if he'll match it - the other guy working at the moment said he's sure they will.

10% Down, with my own financing (cash to them) price was 11499. 417.47 tax + "no" dealer add ons, brought my total to 11,916.47

My guess is no..... But, with the diff in price between them and the mid-west I bet you could make it happen for that price! That's roughly $500 to ship...

Almost every vehicle I've bought in the last seven years was out of state.... The only thing different was I saved a ton of $$$ over local dealer and I had to have it inspected. You pay the sales tax and registration to your local state so that part remains the same.

Example..

08 Busa bought out of state for $10,311.00
Check made out to dealer for $10,311.00
**********************************
Now if you can't pick it up yourself you simply pay a shipper to haul it for you. That is seperate from the first transaction. Although sometimes a dealer will arrange shipping for you, then roll that cost into the total paid for the bike. Shipping can run anywhere from $1 to $800 on average. Of course this will depend on how far you are from the bike. Could be more if your going across water or several thousand miles.
************************************
Finally, when the bike arrives at your home via shipping or you delivered it you must take it to the local authorities to have it registered and tagged in your name. Every state is different so Call you DMV prior to beggining this journey. Will help keep the surprises down....
In Ks it use to cost around $20 for an out of state vechicle inspection then you paid the same fee's you would have paid IF you had bought the vehicle in state. In this case it would be Sales Tax and Tag/Registration.
Hope this helps!

I am in love with the orange/black 08. Right now I am ancy in my pantsy. I am all giddy over the Orange and black. I am racking my brain trying to figure out what I could do to make it possible. I could easily get one by next august if I save. Maybe trade in maybe sell my own.......Trying to figure if I should stop mods or not :-P
