Default 240 or 300 KIT

Does anyone here have any information on how the 300 wheel kit works on the 08 or 09 busa. I had a 240 on my 08 which was all right but bike got stolen and I have purchesed a 09 black busa. Am thinking of installing a 300 kit but want to make sure I am not doing the wrong thing. Any advice is welcome.
Thank

You loose all ability to turn at any speed with a 300. once you go with a 300 the rear basically steers the front, which basically means more lean to get less turn. IMO 240 should be the max for streetablity. Anything more for track use only

Have you ever been on a 300?

Yep here we go again....the comments from those that think they know but have never done it.

There is a big diff from 240 to 300. It depends on your riding style. IF you are a very agressive all the time looking and wanting the twisties knee down..stay 240. a 300 can be done...atleast close but takes more work of the bike to ride like that.
300 arms starts with a jackshaft. Key things to look for when searching for a jackshaft arm is its support and adjustment of the jackshaft dual cog. MyrtleWest, Thompsons, and allthingschrome seem to have good style of supports.
IF you went even bigger to a 330....you could get an OSD 330 kit that has one chain to maintain and can have a lesser stretch in the arm. No extra stetch to make room for the jackshaft. 330 with one chain, 4 - 6 stretch on a GenII looks good and helps in the performance of riding OVER the conventional dual chain jackshaft set ups. If your a big milage rider....having dual chains to maintain become a pain!

I would think(though I've never ridden)that an off center design that doesn't track straight would seem to ride strange?
