The Gen 1 is easier than a Gen 2. Like anything once you've done it a few times it becomes easier. 
Sorry just noticed this thread is in the Gen 2 section. So it'll be not as easy but patients will get the job done.

Yes indeedy...just nip down the local hospital and get yourself a few patients to help.

just remember where all the little nuts caps bolts etc go lol
i took my dash panels off and then my right side fairing when i wrecked and man i got a cup full of stuff at my house i dunno where it goes its like a puzzle.
they arent too bad though, me and my dad cursed the bike out a bit cause we thought we had it all unhooked go to take it off and then crap some crazy hidden screw or something is holding it in
