is it ok to use a normal gps meant for a car on our bike's? I know obviously if it gets soaked in a down pour it will be toast, but will vibrations from the bike and such harm it in the long run. Reason i'm asking is i have a garmin nuvi 780 that i have been using on the busa for quite a while. I've noticed lately the power button doesn't want to function properly sometimes, and won't turn it on or off randomly. Just wondering if all the vibes from the bike are finally affecting it? Would really like to get one of the motorcycle garmins, such as the 550 or 660, but they're so dang expensive!! Plus the 780 is a very nice unit, also have the garmin nuvi 1490T i use in my truck, so the 780 is strictly for the bike

1) Swap in a intake cam to the exhaust side
2) Tighten the quench to "very tight"
I am guessing about 9-11hp.

got my integrated tail light yesterday, very easy installation. Wanted to get the signals working together with the stock signals. Picked up a led relay flasher, getting ready for the fast blink rate and was gonna re-wire a new flasher. Decided to just crimp the signal leads from the tail light onto the stock wiring from the oem signal bulb, and it worked flawlessly!! Used a scotch lock type crimp connector that bites through the insulation. Couldn't believe it didn't speed up the blink rate at all, maybe just a tad but very hard to tell. Anybody have a clue why the rate stayed the same? Anyways, here's the pics, let me know what ya think

just installed my new integrated tail light on my 08 and love it. Want to hook up the integrated signals, just crimping them onto the stock signal wiring with a insulation displacement crimp connector, so i have the stock signals and tail light signals flashing at the same time. I am aware this will speed up the flash rate, so the light came with two ginormous resistors, that i don't really want to have just flopping around in the tail. Can i just buy a flasher relay from my local auto parts store that will work? If so, anybody have an idea which one, and is it pretty much just plug and play? If i do use the resistors, i just install them inline one each wire from the tail light to the signal wiring of left/right sides correct? For instance, the light has a blue and yellow leads hanging out for the signals, so i would just crimp one resistor on each lead and then crimp the other end of the resistor onto the stock left/right signal wiring, correct? Is there a smaller resistor i could use, these things are huge, about 2" long and 1/2" thick

Someone know if Brocks make a customer order for dual alien heads (not slip ons!!!). I love the look suspended of the alien head, not inserted on the rear foot peg.

I think we can use the dual CT header with rigth conventional alien head and one for the left one conventional alien head modified?

Nothing its impossible!!!
Where do I connect the green wire for TPS signal ( I think its pin# 8 pink/black wire) and the brown wire for an rpm signal. Is the genII ignition a CD type ignition? Can I connect the rpm wire to one of the injectors and get an rpm signal that way.
