hope you guys can help. I want to put more power to my 08 busa. I'm only trying to get about 205-210 horses out of her. So far the mods I have are yosh full Exhaust, power commander, Xtre, and bmc Race filter. So what do you guys suggest.

Will swaping the exhaust cam for an intake cam work, with some headporting and some Dyno time get me to where I want to be. What do you all think.

I just finished rebuilding my motor after melting two pistons (to much boost). Anyway I took it to a shop to degree my cam gears brought it home put in the bike this past weekend and tonight I was finishing up little things here and there, and while looking for a return fuel line I came across my cam chain guide. If you were looking at the cam gears straight on it would be the guide that goes on the right side its the one that easily comes out. As you can imagine I went through a mild panic attack, everything is together and back in the bike and I'm trying to find out if can just lower the front of the motor pull the valve cover take out the exhaust cam in insert the guide or am I gonna have to remove the head again (its studded) to get the guide back in. Also I installed a Cometic head gasket, since the bike hasn't been started yet can reinstall the same gasket or will have buy a new one again?

I currently have a 4-2-1 yosh header... I wanna drop the midpipe and slip on and throw on a VooDoo/Moto GP type exhaust tip. Anything needed to connect it to the aftermarket header? Was also wondering about fitment, performance etc....?

I was thinking since I only need one it should be cheap, less to clean, and less weight.

New owner here of an '06. I poked around yesterday and noticed the bike doesn't have a Power Commander or TRE. It does have a full 4-into-1 Brocks exhaust and seems to be tuned ok. ECU flashed, maybe?

Anyway, is there any real benefit to installing a TRE other than the top-speed de-restriction? Is it worth the cost if I'm not planning on hitting 200mph? If so, is it an easy install and any recommendations?

Thanks for any info, and lovin' the boards

I'm lowering my '05 and am new to Busa mods. I have installed Soupy's adjustable lower links. Installation was pretty straight forward. I also strapped the front end with a kit from Brock's. I've purchased the spacers from Soupy's to raise the triple tree as well. Is this just a matter of removing the four bolts, and reinstalling the longer bolts with the spacers? Anything else I need to know? Also, I've tried removing the first bolt (lower left hand one) and the bolt turns when I turn the nut. What can I do since I can get a hold of the bolt from the top? I'm new to modifying motorcycles, have a lot of plans this winter for the Hayabusa, and appreciate any advice. I've done a search but haven't come up with exactly what I need. Thanks!
