Just got my new Li Iron battery from Alien Motion. Installed it. Bike will crank but won't start. Pulled out the new battery, reinstalled the old one. Same thing.
Checked the fuse in the fuel relay, not blown.
Any ideas? Started fine yesterday. All I did was change the battery. Could disconnecting the battery have wiped my ECU?. Another fuse maybe?

So I finally unboxed the thing had it since Nov. of last year:laugh: I tried it out first with my Lightning to show some people what my cams sounded like. Unfortunately the sound is quite muffled and sounds bad. I read where you can take the white gasket off the door and it helps some. Are there any other tricks to getting better audio with the camera ? Gonna try it out on the busa as soon as I get it all figured out.

I am posting this mainly because of the rear brake res on the gen1 Busa , prior to being a Busa owner I owned a TL1000R. I had purchased a great rear res made of billet aluminum for my TL. After changing brake lines for my Busa I found what a pain in the ass it was to bleed them, due to res location. If you are interested in looking into a different rear res for your bike, one that mounts directly to the rear master cylinder and looks great and comes in different colors. These fit the GEN 1 only as far as I know, I am on the list to get one, no ugly line running up into my fairing and no need to unbolt fairing to fill/bleed. I am not selling these or have any affiliating with this seller/maker but he has a great product. I will list link below, if it does not work you can look it up at tlplanet.com under group buys, billet rear res. The one thing I can tell you is that if you are wanting one tomorrow it probably wont happen, I am in the 70's for one of these but they are worth the wait. Just thought I would post this, they are nice and very clean.

2005 Suzuki Hayabusa with a RCC Stage II turbo.

Stage II RCC turbo kit

This bike was sent to the east coast for Dave Owens to setup and custom tuning with proprietary air/fuel maps. For those that don't know, Dave Owens was the crew chief who tuned some of the fastest busa's in the world prior to his death in 2008.

1999 copper/silver body work - This is factory plastic from an original 1999 Busa.

Lightweight aluminum rear frame - As most of you already know the factory made aluminum rear frames for 2 years only (1999 and 2000). They are very rare and save about 11 lbs from the back end of the bike.

Swingarm extensions

New dark smoke double bubble windscreen

High heat coated exhaust turbo blow off and dump pipes - I sent the exhaust dump and blow off pipes off for black ceramic coating. This really makes a difference with protecting the plastic from excessive heat and makes a real clean and mean look.

Storage under hump -- Tiger Racing

New Michelins dual-compound front and back tires

Mirror block off's with bar end mirror

Frame sliders

Chrome chain

Head Spacer for lower compression

High end clutch and clutch springs

Front end lowering kit

Woodcraft Stator cover/protector

Rear turn signals eliminated w/integrated LED rear brake and undertail

Clear front turn signal's

Nelson Tank bag

Bike Cover

Power Commander III with custom tune by Dave Owens

MT-2 Controller with custom tune by Dave Owens

Corbin Front Seat - I also have the original seat as well as the passenger seat which you can replace the hump with.

In addition to this bike being crazy fast it is a real beauty, turning heads everywhere I ride. PM me for pictures or give me a shout on the phone and I will send pictures.

$12,500 cash

Thanks...

Greetings,

I posted about this problem before, 1 week later and all sensors checked out ok with meter.

After I go out for a ride, the coolant needle ( which never goes above half when riding). Turn bike off and as soon as I immediately try and restart bike, the "chec" symbol goes on and the coolant needle parks in the red zone.

As soon as the bike cools down, the coolant gauge goes back to normal and bike starts. The bike is running very rich and bogs below 4k. Full akro, no other mods( PC3 removed)
