Ballistic 8 cell Vs. 12 cell

I know most people run at least the 12 cell Ballistic on there Busa's. I was wondering if i would be okay running a 8 cell. i want to to so for size reasons. on paper it looks like it would be fine, just comparing it to the stock battery specs. I'm not riding in extreme conditions, and i'm also not running anything that draws an additional electric load. Does anybody have any experience with this, or able to enlighten me on why or why not this would or wouldn't work?

I have a 12 cell ballistic battery it's small as chit and literally weighs nothing..... Have you seen 1 in person? I really don't think the size of it will be an issue. Could you use an 8 cell?? Maybe... but the manufacturer recommends a 12 cell and I noticed a lot of the other bigger displacement bikes use the 12 cell as well so it must be for a reason right?

I have an eight cell Ballistic in my 2011 and it is inadequate when the weather is below freezing. An eight cell would be pretty much useless I think.
