Talking Tom Tom GPS Mounted under Windshield!!!!!

Installed my GPS mount under my windshield. I had this Idea for some time and I wanted mine protected from the rain.
I started out by purchasing a mount for my Tom Tom from ebay. This kind mounts in the car vents. I modified the mount using some screws and a piece of aluminum bar and my drill. I mounted the bar to the small dash piece above the speedometer that connects to the main fairing. I had to have a power source for the charger so I bought a cig lighter kit from Advance Auto. I wired it to the battery using a fuse on the positive wire and placed it under my hump/seat. Then I ran the cord under the tank, under the dash pieces up behind the speedo. This is how it all looks. It work great against the vibration.

Looks good. If you get caught in some pretty heavy rain it may get a few drops on it anyway.

Yeah, I thought about that. Now I have to come up with an idea for a protective cover. Any thoughts?

Some of the GPS companies sell an aqua clear cover for their gps units. I know garmin does.

Once I take the GPS unit off, I can see the FI and Oil warning lights quite well.
