| AP Racing Master Cylinders CP6125 = $525, 2 position ratio adjustment CP4125 = $625, multi position ratio adjustment more info available at www.apracing.com but include text such as: CP4125 adjustable Master Cylinders are supplied with the wheel adjuster set at position '0' (i.e. with the fulcrum point at end of guide slot in lever, nearest to end of the handlebars) at this setting travel is at its maximum, which will give best conditions for bleeding the brake system. After initial setting only small adjustments typical + or - 1 turn should be necessary to suit differing conditions. The adjuster wheel has a detent mechanism allowing it to be moved a half turn per click. No locking of mechanism is required. Lever travel will usually increase slightly in dynamic applications over static setting due to disc runout etc. It is therefore advisable to set lever feel on the hard side for initial test. The new CP6125-2 and -4 master cylinders are based on the CP4125 design and feature two fixed ratio positions. Features Single chamber configuration Two fixed ratio positions Ratios are 10 to 1 and 7 to 1 Adjustable lever position Reverse for use as clutch master cylinder Use with remote fluid reservoir (not supplied) Typical Applications Grand Prix Machines, Superbikes, Road. I love AP Racing stuff. Are you guys a dist. for them? I would love to throw a set of front 6 piston. CP4466 calipers. I got the CP4226 mini out back. Do they make these for hayabusa? And if so, can you pm me price for left and right caliper and adapter brackets? |

Price is for 1 master. We are a dealer and it's not a brand that we do a lot with (since we sell more of the Brembo) but they have great products. We can get anything in their motorcycle line-up that you want but they are special orders (subject to restock). These are adjustable which means they can be set by the user to desired firmness or you may change them for more firmness for Track Days. Like Brembo MC's, they need a remote reservoir and require a fine thread bolt at the master cylinder. If any of you guys have feedback on this product then offer it up!!! ______________________________________ MEMBER DISCOUNTS - we price match! In a hurry? 1-800-805-2118 (Please say Hayabusa.org/ forum name & request forum discount.) |

I have the CP4125 levers, AP calipers, and AP disks. I'm very impressed with the setup. It took some time to really dial in the levers for different types of ridding. The instructions included with the levers provide comprehensive information in regard to the adjustments. It also provides a setup that provides a good base point. Anyone who purchases leers that are ratio adjustable should really document their settings and the tyope of "feel" it gavies them. This way you end up building a little map to help yourself out. From alot of testing I've ended up with three specific setups that I use. 1.two-up ridding, 2. solo/aggressive ridding, 3. LSR. Having such a wide ratio to play with really allows a rider to dial-in the brakes very well. Now for the con.... I had to fab up my own mounting bracket for the resevoir and had to purchase sepperatly soem brembo remote resevoirs. I had to cut my own lines from the res. to the levers. You also will need an inline banjo brake switch. There's no provisions for the OE brake light switch. ______________________________________ 2009 Super Streetbike's Top Speed Challenge Winner Unlimited naturally aspirated class ![]() |

for some reason I can't attach my pics sorry... If any one wants to see how I set mine up just let me know where to e-mail them... As for the rotors their full floating so expect some noise when bouncing around on the streets. Of course when you apply your brakes there's no rattle but when the calipers are loose/brakes not applied they'll rattle when you hit bumps, etc. The complete AP brake system works flawlessly. I can haul down from very high terminal speeds without fade and with complete control. I couldn't be happier. ______________________________________ 2009 Super Streetbike's Top Speed Challenge Winner Unlimited naturally aspirated class ![]() |
