Aren't rotors fairly expensive compared to the lines and pads? While I know it would be a performance increase I am not sure I need it in a 10 year old bike.....

You don't need the rotors. The stock rotors will do great with the HH pads. They can get grabby when they heat up. It's easy to adjust for if you pay attention to lever feedback.

I need a price quote for EBC and Galfer HH pads for the front on an 08 Busa. To 27540. And since i currently have EBC HH on the front and they are noisy, will the Galfer be just as good and be quieter?

Noise feedback can most of the time be solved by cleaning the rotors well and installing new pads. But, it could be a symptom of other things in the brake system. Unfortunately, it requires trial and error. You could try first to clean the rotors with fine-grit (600) sandpaper and water in small circular scuffing motions.. while you also take out the pads.. place the sandpaper on a flat surface and run the pad back and forth over the sandpaper for even wear. This preps both surfaces (pad & rotor) for reinstall and then re-bed pads lightly for 100 miles to see if it solves the problem. If it doesn't, then go ahead and get new pads (again, cleaning the rotors). I'll forward your quote via PM.
Regards, Melissa
