LCD shows 'check'

Hi all .... i am owning 1999 gold busa .... recently i am just realizing that when i turn on my key LCD just shows 'check' even i leave it for more than 3 sec. Aren't they suppose to show error code ?? ... by bike anyway dont have any problem can start and run ..... however how can i fix this thing?? .. does my ECU/ECM problem?? ... lease: help

yes sir ... it turn off when i start the engine ..... LCD shows clock after that ...

do you have a tre installed?

no sir ....no TRE installed ..... just stock with K&N and slip on WOLF .... thats all ..... thinking of PC III installed due to my engine died once i fast open throttle and close .... i thought i wanna detect it with error code ... but somehow it does not work ... hmmm. .... how can i balance my throttle body without the error code ...???

would it by chance that the side stand kill switch is faulty?
it would show me the check when i had my side stand out and i enage to gear one.
