Busa Stalling During Downshift ...

I was out riding with a friend tonight and have some to a realization that this problem is getting worse.

When I try to downshift, my bike just stalls & dies ... have to start her all up again.

This is getting worse every day I ride, thing died on my about 10 times while riding & trying to downshift gears.

Anyone know what would cause this?

I reviewed muliple pages but was unable to find anything.

Had two 06's do it. No big deal. Idle adjust is the fix.

So, did it fix it?? I'm having the same problem. When I pull in the clutch to downshift, she dies, I downshift then pop the clutch out and she fires right back up. Real annoying though. She did it to me in an HD dealership parking lot too... talk about bad timing, and it's completely at random.

That is what my '02 was doing. Idle was down around 500. I turned it up to 1100 and have had ZERO problems since. Just keep an eye on your idle. Mine is back down around 950 again.

Same here my 06 was was stalling on me. I read this post and adjusted the idle and that fixed the problem all togeather.

Same here - my 05 did it at 800 - I keep it at 1150 to 1200. No more stalls.
