Slight tapping noise

I notice a tapping noise at or near idle, especially when the engine is cold just after being started. I know it could be loose valves or the cam chain tensioner (which has been replaced with the recall). I would think valves would only get tighter with the shim system eh?

But it isn't very loud though. I just didn't notice it a couple thousand miles ago (almost 10000 now). Is some audible engine noise normal on a busa? About how much engine noise is normal on a busa?

Do you hear the noise only when the bike is cold?

The 'Busa engine shakes, rattles, rocks and rolls when it's not under load/idling or cold, that's what gives it character.

Could be clutch noise also.
