Steering Dampner....

Had my nose off the other day. Where the dampner attaches to the frame had alot of play. I'm assuming there should not be any. Checked the bolt..it was tighter than hand tight, but it looked as if the bearing / bushing is worn out. Anyone else had this issue, or is this something my extended warrenty should cover.

I had the same question as well as many other people. The moral of the story, this is normal. I noticed mine at about 50 miles on the bike so I was freakin at first but as I said after checking with several other members it is perfectly normal. Just go ride it and sleep well.
