Default Fouling #1 spark plug every few days

I know I'm running rich in a few places, but I'm curious why it's always the #1 plug that fouls?

    (02' turbo)

    Thanks

Have you swapped coil sticks around to see if the problem moves?

No, but I will now! Figured I'd ask before beginning a diagnosis.

Thought it might be something special about the #1 cyl.

Could be a flow problem with the injector. Try moving that to another cylinder if any of the above doesn't fix it.

Is it oil or fuel fouling?

The fouling is like black soot. All the cyl's have it, but all but the #1 keep firing.

Cleaning the plug causes #1 to fire normally again. Gap is currently .020

It has fouled now maybe 5 times. Each time was on startup after sitting for at least hours and usually overnight.

Throw those plugs out. Put new ones in. Put the bike on a dyno!

Agreed. You have a rich mixture, which if they're all sooty then it's too rich, and a weak plug then when it's cold and running richer during it's startup routine that's the one that will foul.
