99 & 03 EMU Compatable?

I've still got a problem with the clocks and gauges on my 99 busa. I've found someone with an 03 near by. I want to swap the EMUs to check if that cures the fault. Anyone know if there's a risk of damaging his EMU by plugging it into my 99.

Not sure if you meant to DOUBLE POST but also answered in your other thread.

ECU for 99 is NOT compatible with an 03. NOT 100% SURE but IIRC, 02-up changed to a 32-bit ECU
