Starting Blues

Hi all
I just bought a 06 Busa, and my issue is that, when I try to start my bike its like the battery dies. I turned the sswitch off the back on the lights are briight and everything. As soon a i hit the starter button i get one attempt to turn then nothing. I bought a new battery , charged it , and got the same results, I can jump it with a vcar with no problem, fires right up.Any idea what the issue might be. Or yeah the guy I bought it from str8 wired the fan to a on/off switch, help me out please Im so ready to ride.

If it was a fully charged, brand new batt. that you tried also... check your wiring and make sure everything is tight and has a good connection, not corrodide or rusted... ect...

Whanks for the welcome you all. Well I found out my problem with the bike. I local dealer sold me a bad battery, took it back exchanged it, charged up the new one and ms busa fired rite up.
