OK, I have done a search and these gears do seem to be a common problem but I havent read a thread that seems to identify my exact issue.
This is a turbo busa with 250+ hp and yes it has been thrown down the drag strip more than once..
The transmission feels extremely clunky and stiff, especially in the lower gears. It is almost impossible to find neutral with the motor running. I am guessing something has been bent or stripped but before I go cap in hand to the local garage I need to be armed with a few facts!
Sometimes it feels smooth and good which is almost more annoying because then when it goes back to being a pig it is even more noticeable. She has been sitting in the garage and not ridden for a while so is it possible that she just needs a good run in or is this just wishful thinking??
