i have managed to have the quick shifter to work properly on my 04 busa,, but i have this weird problem when i quick shift from 4th to 5th the bike revs high and hits the limiter until i let go the throttle then it engage again,,
this also happens if i clutch shifted to 5th quickly,,

is that the clutch?

i heard that not recommended engine oil can develop clutch slippage,, my tech recommended 10W-40,, what do you guys use for your bikes? and how often you change the engine oil and filter?

I've always ran the zuki 10W-40 and changed oil and filter every 4K miles. You can try the oil, but I imagine you'll end up pulling the clutch.
