Cracks or casting flaws?

Hey all.
I took my rear off and saw this on my hub. Doesn't look right to me. Just saying...
Has anyone seen this before????

That is a commonly asked question, I believe the common consensus is casting marks...

It is hard to say...if you clean it up good with carb cleaner or brake cleaner and get a better look it it is probably just the surface. It does not seem like a stressed area. If you sanded it or sand blasted on the area it would flatten out and still have enough material for a safe thickness. The only reason I say this is because I have polished parts that start out like that and end up looking like a mirror.

I don't think they are casting flaws nor cracks.
It seems to me it's just some marking in the mold, which later show on the Part
Look at a brand new one and you'll likely see the same
