problem starting

I have a 2000 busa, i have a 2 month old fully charged battery and i keep it on a battery tender when i'm not riding, but recently i tried to start my bike and it won't start . all my lights are on bright, i hear the fuel pump humming, and all i get is the click everytime i push the button from the relay and i hear the spinning of the starter. engine will not turn over. what do i need to do or replace?

have the choke on ? and or can u smell fuel from the exhaust?

hi, if this was a car i would say that your starter bendix might be at fault. i just looked in the clymer for busas, and i dont see a bendix. there is reference to a reduction gear that the starter spline mates into. if the starter does spin, but the engine does not, that is where i would start looking.
