Hayabusa Starting Problems

weak / bad battery would be my guess. do you have a battery tender to help keep the charge when not riding?

Very simple. Remove the negative battery cable. Touch a test light from the terminal to the connector and if it lights up you have an amp draw somewhere on the bike. Pull fuse by fuse till the light goes out and it will tell you what circuit is either shorted, or pulling voltage. If the test light does not glow, charge your battery up and test it. If bad replace.

you can also check the connection of the little black box on the left handle bar , sometimes if its dirty or not used in awhile that acts up, simply wiggle it and try and start the bike at the same time. you can also clean and mildy bend the 2 prongs to make better contact......good luck!
