i have a 2001 busa with 24v wiring installed for the high compression 1397 engine upgrade. Problem started after i threw my chain and the mechanic put it all back together, new water pump, gear shift cover, oil pump, etc... I have checked the battery, starter relay, kill switch, turn signal/side stand switch (which was always bypassed), and clutch switch... It did try to turn over today when i put in two new batteries but that didnt last long because the batteries both went dead prior to starting. but the starter was turning over really fast...How do you know if your starter brushes are bad???? What else could the problem be????
P.S. the mechanic also left my tip over switch hanging, how is it supposed to go back into the rubber sleeve??? with the silver plate facing the front or back of the bike??? and with the smaller two screw-top looking nipples pointing left or right or does it matter????
