Coils looks worried for me!!! Is it normal????

I opened one of the coils...???





Is this red OK or there is something wrong????

think youll find its rust , look down the plug hole & see if it looks the same , poss getting water in there , check the o ring on the coil for damage

Red means rust, rust comes from water.
Simple and no other excuse.
Check all of them.

On the Gen II's there is a small drain hole for water on each plug hole...not sure about Gen 1 but if you have them make sure they are clear of any blockage~!~

You can see the hole exit above each exhaust outlet...

I will check them today but should I just clean them or I have to change something...

Just clean, can probably take a small pick or paper clip and stick through it...if you were looking down the plug hole at the same time you'll see it stick through to your plug.

If your plugs are out make sure nothing is pushed in where it can fall into your cylinder...

As a matter of fact, you can do a drain test by spraying a little WD-40 down you plug hole (with the plug in) and it should drain out through this little hole and come out near your header tube. Might even be behind your header flange if you have stock headers.
