Welp tried to start my 06 yesterday and it didn't turn on. Some history, I had it on the trickle charger (walmart special) I haven't started it since nov. The battery was new as of last spring. SO I put the key in turn on the ignition and I first notice the needles don't do there peg out back to zero thing, my hid lights kinda flicker, and the time and milage meter is blank.

Thats all the pertanet info, hope someone can offer some insight. I did not have time to investigate further yesterday and this evening or tomorrow I will be trying to get to the bottom of this.

Hmmmm, seems either your ignition switch causes the trouble or your battery is gone.
1) Check the voltage of the battery when ignition is off (should be > 11,5 V)
2) Check the voltage of the battery when ignition is on (should be > 11,5 V)
3) Try with a jumper cable and your car

Post what happens...

Well my suspicon that it was the battery turned out to be correct. Now why would a batter thats less than a year old and has been on a battery tender go bad?!?

Its easy when the owner doesn't know that there are 2 settings for the charger and doesn't see that its set for 6volts.

Yep Im a dumb arse. Thx for the input tho love you guys:whistle:
