Hi all
I ride a 1999 model Busa that was bought second hand with 18000km on the clocks. The CCT has been replaced as per the recall, but I would like to know if it must be replaced/repaired any time after that?
I see it has has an oil feed line going to the CCT to compensate for the lack of pressure from the CCT spring that may or may not fail, but is that a once-off "fix" that would always compensate for any pressure or will the CCT need to be replaced again. Currently the bike has 34000km and runs like when I first got it.
The cams are a little noisy at 2000rpm while cold but once she warms up and gets oil pressure, she runs quiet again. She ran like this when I first got her.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
