Ok, so I found my kid out twisting the little knob up on the cable by the grip. Now my throttle hangs when I release the grip and then drops down. How do I properly re adjust this? what way is giving or taking slack out? Posted via Mobile Device |

That's so cool Daniel. My middle son adjusted the front fender on my escort when he was about 4 or 5 with a pall pen hammer. I was under the car doing an oil change and he was helping. My first reaction was kill him, but my second reaction was how cute daddy's little helper. I miss those days ______________________________________

Ok well I'm not making any progree. Every time I turn it to the right it makes the throttle rise up the 2000 rpms. The little adjuster knob is not making a diff. With the tank lifted up I can see that's there is no slack on the bottle pull cable and what happears to be slack and upper return cable. Any help guys?? Posted via Mobile Device |

Do what I do ... turn things and see what happens !! ![]() Ah seriously, your trying to get the slack outta the throttle, did mine the other day, up near the throttle > 2 cables coming out the bottom, i think its the top one (dont quote me) jig around with the throttle as your adjusting it u will feel it tighten up. Hope that helps or i've got it all wrong ? |

Its seems as if there no slack....the RPMs raise when I turn the bars to the right. How do I add slack? The adjuster by the throttle is not helping. Posted via Mobile Device |
