Angry intermediate oil light

well my bike was running fine no problems.
tonight me and my wife went for a ride and i noticed at 6th gear @ around 85mph/4200+/- rpm (calm ride) the oil light came on however, no bright just flickering.
i stopped, no oil leak that i saw, no oil burning smell.pull to a place with a light let it sit for a while, check the oil it is full.
under 85mph no light no nothing.
we were able to ride home (like riding a scooter).
any ideas? i will tear it apart tomorrow.
thank you
Ron

Check the oil level plug. If it's loose or dirty it will give a flickering light.

I hate that light.
I installed a real oil pressure gauge, so I could tell what is really happening.
Your pressure sending unit could be dirty or bad.

if you have the pair sucker mod the light will do this
remmeber the light comes on when the pressure drops below 7 psi thus your motor will be cooked shortly after

Good luck with it. Will a loose connection on the sending unit cause this ?
