Whine!!!

Trasmission whine that is,,, i have noticed that above 40 mph i can hear a speed related whine,, the pitch changes as a accelerate. pulling in the clutch makes it more obvious..

is this normal??????

What year do you have. My 08's tranny wines while I am using the compression to slow my bike down. Mine has done it from day one.
