Tranny question.

When shifting from 1st to second I hear a slight clunk. Doesn't do it if shifting softly. Normal riding you can hear it. Is this normal? Not trying to be a "worry wart"...just trying to iron out any possible issues on a "new to me" used bike. 06 with 4400 miles. hasen't been ridden hard...yet. thks

Mine does it too.
It does it more now that I did this mod:

After the mod it shifts much better but there is a clunk as it goes in.

I figured it's normal after reading a few old posts. I need to get a service and owners manuel. thanks
