Took my 99 Busa out for a run now that the weather has cleared a little, great run out, got home bike running fine then it cut out , dead, would not start or fire up at all.
Flashing F1 error, so armed with said error logged into the forum and searched.
Well blow me lots of F1 errors!
Now armed with a bit of information from the forum and a bit of wire went out and stuck it in the engine management port and switched on the ignition.
Well it flashed up a C41 code, so back to the forum to check codes, tells me its a fuel pump problem. hmmm
Back out to the bike put a volt meter across the fuel pump connections - dead!
Wheres the bleedin fuse box......
back to the forum, a quick search reveals it to be in the left side of the fairing.
open up the fuse box and the 10amp fuse for the fuel pump had blown,. replaced it and its been fine since. Although still niggles me as top why it blew though?
