Throttle assembly broken?

Twist the throttle and the whole assembly rotates... WTF??? Broke pin inside????

SAme thing happen to mine when they dropped it off???
The grip was over rotated with the tie down straps....
they put it through Warranty,,,, ooks like the part is about 88dollars from suzuki.

Ok, so I took it ( throttle assy. ) apart and found that there is a small 3/16" or so "button" where the inside of the run/kill switch housing is that is broken off. Any ideas anyonelease:

happened to mine also. i turned it all the way down and snugged up the screws a little more. worked for me.

I tried that first with no luck.. Maybe ill try to put something on the inside of the switch assembly then try again.. Thank you!

trekfuel; thank you for the heads up on the fiche, the little part would be inside the top clamshell piece of part labeled number 1.
