im not sure all the signs are there tight then loose chain.and the chain walks left to right hitting the frame.
no real move ment looking at the sprocket with the chain moving it.
I need to put a dial indicator on it?
My question is how much work compared to OIL COOLED 1100 trans?
If i remove the front sprocket will this be plain as day to see the bent area?
HELP?

Is your bike modified ie: turbo, lots of nitrous or see hard launching. Those shafts are pretty tough it is doubtful that the shaft is bent. Usually if something goes it is the splines on the end of the shaft, not necessarily the shaft itself bending.

wow some posts some ideas i would like to see what it could be. what all done to the bike? and do you beat the piss outta it?

This Thread sounds alittle Personal but then again this is the Org and im sure someone will chime in and fix your problem

yes indicator on the shaft and look for runout

you must do a complete tear down to replace it.

took rear wheel off didnt see any problems.
put sprocket on axel still moving loose and tight
well got out the starting fluid cleaned rear sprocket and found bad spot
