k8 cans bolt up to k5?

just wondering if they would bolt up to the k5 midpipe? or if the 1000 short cans would bolt up?

Id like to get 1K cans on both sides if possible. Do they make a left sided can?

I have a k5 and mocked up a k8 and a set of k7 gsxr 1000 cans and neither will go on as a bolt on. I really did not realize how incredibly HUGE and HEAVY the K8 cans are compared to stock. The 1K are way lighter and really would look good with the proportions of the first gen (my opinion). I kept the 1k cans but have not mustered the "want to" to fab them on.
