Went through about 25 pages of the mods forum and a little info, but wanted to just ask the best place to get a stem mount. Ideally, want something I could mount 2 devices to. Read about a Techmount reservoir mounted, but couldn't find any pics. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a pic, I have the one that holds two units (Rear view TV and GPS)

And here is a link,

That's the regular steering stem mount right, Dave? Did you have to buy the dual mount plate separately?

Nope sent tech mounts an email with what I wanted as I couldn't find it on their site.
That is the short dual top mount! I drilled the bottom of it for a thin threaded rod with a washer and nut on the bottom to keep some one from just pulling it out and taking off with my TV and GPS.

Ken, I have somthing similar to what the resevoir tech mount may look like. From what I can tell it a two part mounting system. A mounting plate is bolted to the top of the resevoir (clutch or brake)using your stock bolt or larger bolt to accomodate the tech mount plate so it can still screw into the bottom half of the resevoir. The other half is an attaching plate that slide over the mounting plate (attached to your resevoir) which is bolted to your radar, gps, etc. To give you a better ideal I'll post a photo of my jerry rigged xm satelite radio antenna clutch resevoir mount.

Heres are some other ideals for mounting onto your resevoir,Ken.  I'll post a photo of my setup as well later on today.

Or this baby! It replacing the c-clamp that clamps your clutch and brake resevoir onto the handle bars.

Here's a photo of my jerry rigg magetized xm radio resevoir steel plate mount (platform). It just a steel plate cut to the  same circumference as the Garmin xm radio antenna.. The xm antenna is mounted with a magnet from the factory which holds itself onto the steel plate that bolted to the topside of the resevoir using the stock res bolt.

Later on down the line I plan on redoing the steel plate and making it a rectangle shape comparable to the resevoir top, rather than a round shape currently being used.

I saw the control mounted setup on their site and kind of liked it just trying to check out all options before deciding.

Cool! If you don't mind me askin', how much did that one cost you?

Do you have a pic of just the mount without the satellite antenna on it?

Here ya go,Ken. The plate came with the Garmin antenna. Both ends of the steel plate originally had triangular tips. I rounded off one side of the steel plate to conform to the shape of the antenna and left the other side alone to mount to the topside of the resevoir.
