Air box

Can someone explain to me the procedure and benifits of the air box mod. I have a K&N filter if needed. Thanks

I only did this mod because of the NOS, other then that I don't notice a dif!

Do a search. I think there's some dyno results on differing filters and the mod should be pinned. The biggest restriction in the Busa from reading here, is the factory tubes.
