lowering with hi mounts

Hmf says that you cant lower the rear of the bike with the hi mounts. Do they tuck under the tail that much? Has anybody fabbed a bracket or lowered their bike with the hi mounts?

The swing arm will hit the pipes when it goes up that high!

yes you can i have lowered mine 1 in without modding
this bike is really lowered

that bike has an aftermarket swingarm. the stock swingarm has the brace on top and thats the part that would hit the pipes it it was lowered

not so-I have mine down 2" in tha back n nothing is touching...belly wing scrapes here n there but no prob with pipe clearance

I actually raised mine +1, but was looking at it and see no reason i couldn't lower it if i wanted it to handle worse...lol

mine handles fine....and now I can actually wind the throttle all the way back in 1st n 2nd...last time i did that at stock height I flipped over!

Thanks for the responses guys. I didnt see why it couldnt be lowered, but hey, Im a newb and wanted to ask before I shelled out $1100!!
