Installed Undertail

I installed a UFO Undertail kit today which I really Like. However, the turn signals flash much faster than the stock signals.

Is there some type of resistors or flasher I can buy to slow them down to normal speed?

I had a Clear Alternatives integrated LED assembly before my UFO. I used the load resistors that came with that to slow the UFO down.

They are 20w 5 ohm resistors wired in parallel. One resistor per turn signal.

I had the expediated blinkers as well, but decided not to install the resistors because the faster blinking rate was more annoying, almost strobe like, and catches the eye a little easier.

Not sure why anyone would want to slow it down to the typical slower rate.

i did not try that route, i used a heavy duty car flasher when i had that problem.

If you don't want to do the resistors, here's how you do the heavy duty flasher relay. Get one at your local auto parts store for ~$8.00
